The building, renovated as part of the "RTU – City within a City" project, opened its doors to students and teaching staff in the autumn of 2014. "RTU – City within a City" is an ambitious project which has created the most modern engineering study centre in the Baltic region – a student campus that will in future comprise RTU faculties, administrative buildings and the Scientific Library. This is the most ambitious student campus project in Latvia.
