Visiting Raimonds Dombrovskis in Vanagkalns

This year, as part of our annual summer expedition, we visited Raimonds Dombrovskis, a multiple US biathlon champion, leader of white-water river expeditions, owner of Vanagkalns, and a man who, in his youth, crossed America on roller skis, covering 6,759 km in 90 days. Surrounded by the beautiful natural landscapes of Vanagkalns, we first followed the instructions of team coach Nauris Svikas, who very successfully adapts valuable insights from his military experience to the business environment.

Raimonds surprised us with his very special stand-up storytelling evening, a rowing masterclass and an insight into the world of biathlon alongside Latvian national team biathletes Daumants Lūsa and Rolands Pužulis.

In collaboration with our neighbour, the potter Kristīna, we created very special Christmas gifts for our partners and colleagues. But our neighbour Inese surprised us with her special superpower of capturing the colour palette of beautiful natural landscapes.

The musical highlights of the evening were provided by Emīlija Kate Tomsone and Reinis Reķis.
