A glimpse into the LAFI team’s sporting adventure

Last weekend, our colleagues took part in one of the most eagerly anticipated and largest sporting events in Latvia – the “Rimi” Riga Marathon 2025.

We are proud of our active and sporty colleagues who, despite the rainy weather, thoroughly enjoyed the team spirit, the celebration of togetherness and this fantastic sporting event on the streets of Riga! Our team was represented across all marathon distances – the 42 km marathon, the 21 km half-marathon and the 10 km run, as well as the 6 km People’s Run and the DPD Mile (1.6 km). For us, the marathon wasn’t just about the kilometres covered – it was about unity, shared energy and how we inspire and strengthen one another.

We are particularly proud that the LAFI team secured an impressive 9th place in the Small Teams category (15–29 participants) out of 113 competing teams!
