A partial recirculation ventilation system with heat recovery has been installed in the foundry, which effectively utilises the heat generated during the production process to heat the building during the winter months. Three ventilation units with heaters and SUM units have been installed in the office area, located on the roof and in the false ceilings on the second floor. Perforated fabric air ducts are used in the production areas, ensuring a constant climate – temperature, humidity and air pressure. A chiller with a cooling capacity of 450 kW and a ‘free cooling’ function has been installed for air cooling, ensuring efficient cooling during cold periods without the compressors running. The heating systems are adapted to the functions of the spaces: in the office area — radiator heating; in the warehouse — warm air blowers; in the production workshop — an air heating system with additional radiators to ensure minimum operating conditions.
The project involved the installation of ventilation and heating systems in the foundry, offices, warehouse and production areas, with solutions tailored to the specific requirements of each zone. A centralised air heating system was installed in the production hall, radiator heating was fitted in the office area, the warehouse area was equipped with warm air blowers, and efficient air cooling and heat recovery systems were implemented. Precise coordination of technical services with the heating and ventilation systems was ensured, guaranteeing the necessary microclimate for production processes and employee comfort.
